Liz, a Tennessee native, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Trevecca Nazarene University. She has thirteen years of practice experience in many counseling settings, including work in TN Rule 31 Divorce Mediation, school based therapy, and outpatient therapy.

Liz is skilled in individual, family, and group therapy.  She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Crisis Intervention.  Her approach is solution focused helping clients identify goals to problems that are causing emotional distress, improving communication skills, strengthening self-esteem and promoting behavior changes for optimal mental health.
