Meredith Simmons is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with prescribing privileges in the state of Tennessee. Meredith is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centered care in a safe and nonjudgmental setting.

Meredith obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies as well as a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. As an RN, Meredith worked on a senior behavioral unit. She then obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

As an APRN, Meredith has experience in geriatric psychiatry and consultation psychiatry, as well as experience working with various mental health disorders across the lifespan.

In her free time, Meredith enjoys strength training, baking, and spending time with her fiancé and her pet beagle.
