Marion Malone

Marion worked with adolescents at KIPP Nashville College Prep as an intern for a year and half before moving on to work at Mental Health Cooperative as a Crisis counselor. Marion has also enjoyed working Healthconnect Nashville, LLC an affiliate company to offer counseling services to children in DCS foster care programs as well as working with a non-profit to design and administer counseling services for formerly incarcerated men as they transition back into society while at Men of Valor. While at KIPP Marion worked with at risk youths to help them become more aware of their emotional well-being and better ways in which they could express themselves positively. During his time at Mental Health Cooperative Marion performed such duties as assessing emergency room patients in crisis throughout Nashville in order to find appropriate interventions that would result in the best outcomes for their mental health.

Marion’s ideal client is open and ready for the work they must do to become the best version of themselves, someone who will be open to trying new things that will help them reach the goals they set. He enjoys walking alongside individuals as they go through the healing process and developing a therapeutic relationship with someone. He finds honor in helping them feel comfortable enough to welcome him into moments of insight when they realize the empowerment from vulnerability and the growth that true authenticity brings. Marion’s has a passion for meeting people where they are and helping them through the difficulties they may be experiencing.
