Wanda Woodward is a licensed professional counselor with over 20+ years mental health experience and, prior to this, over 15 year’s experience in human resources management.  She completed her Master’s degree in Counseling at Villanova University and her doctorate in psychology at Saybrook University. Wanda has been approved to provide clinical supervision for licensure to aspiring counselors.

Wanda has worked with adolescents and adults with a broad range of mental health challenges including those with depression, anxiety, bipolar and other mood disorders, and trauma.  Her specialty is gender psychology with an emphasis on the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral differences between men and women, and how that may affect their personal and work relationships.  Clients working with spiritual and religious issues may find her helpful.  Because of her background in human resources in corporations, she is particularly knowledgeable about work stress.  She has worked with clients in these mental health settings: outpatient, in-patient, PHP, and crisis.  Approaching from a client-centric approach in therapy, Wanda is attentive to providing a safe, calm, non-judgmental space for clients as they heal.  

Wanda has published two books and will publish her third book within the next year. Her favorite things are geopolitics, history, writing, reading non-fiction books, spending time in Nature, music, meditation, seeing beautiful art and architecture, and travelling.
